Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the pillars of national economic, especially in increasing employment and providing broad economic services to the community. The strategic role of MSMEs is to promote the process of equity and increase community income, economic growth, and realize national stability.
Although UMKM has shown its role in the national economy, it still faces various obstacles and constraints, both internal and external, in terms of production and processing, marketing, human resources, design and technology, capital, and business climate.
In connection with this, to face the Disruptive Era, a synergistic effort needs to be made involving various parties to increase the capacity and capability of MSMEs. With the better quality of MSMEs, it is hoped that the multiplier effects on employment will also be better. Thus, MSMEs are truly able to make a significant contribution, not only to growth but also to national economic equality.
