Abstract. Sriharjo village has several areas adjacent to the river and has tourism potential. One area that is a tourist village and adjacent to the river is the Kedungmiri tourism village, which is a tourist village located in Kedungmiri Wunut Hamlet. In 2017 the flood occurred due to the overflow of the Oyo river, which also affected Kedungmiri village. Floods overflowed river water causing severe damage to the access road, was cut off. The houses of the residents adjacent to the Oyo River were muddy and ravaged, including the destruction of the Kedungmiri suspension bridge, which became an iconic object. Many things were done for rehabilitation and reconstruction after the disaster. However, it is not optimal to restore the condition of Kedungmiri like before the flood. As a tourist village as well as disaster-prone, we need a facility that increases security in the event of a disaster. One of the facilities that must be available is an early warning system that is designed in an integrated, real-time, and informative way to reduce the impact of the risk of damage in the event of a disaster. The use of modern information technology as an early warning system is a solution in providing security to the public and tourists who visit. Therefore, the application of appropriate technology in the form of an Early Warning System with the name Janardana can be a solution to existing problems and provide maximum benefit to the people of Kedungmiri.
