Abstract. Bejiharjo village has the potential of beauty natural caves, one of them is Goa Pindul. Officially opened in 2010, nowadays Goa Pindul becomes a popular tourism destination in Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta. Despite it boosts economic benefit, a large number of visitors increases the waste generation in the tourism area. However, waste management is still low. In response, an environmental management program including waste is initiated. In this sense, education is chosen as an approach to open the mindset and change the behavior of communities towards wastes. Programs were held to educate the stakeholders in Goa Pindul Area, those are management of BUMDes Maju Mandiri, sellers as the society, and young generation in Goa Pindul (Karang Taruna and students). The results the programs are (i) the BUMDes has a goal to better the performance trough increasing the service (ii) the seller has better waste knowledge that can lead to better awareness of waste and avoid littering the waste inland and river, and (iii) Karang Taruna of Desa Bejiharjo shows as the community that interests and has future commitment to face environmental issues including waste.
